According to the material published in the journal Catalysts, the production schedule they created allows the production of catalysts with different parameters – in accordance with the requirements of the design of a particular fuel cell. The new technology is said to be simpler than existing analogues and does not require the use of substances that pollute the environment.
The only problem is that hydrogen cars are not being built in our country, so no one needs a unique development, says the Hamburg report. In the meantime, the scarcity and high cost of traditional “catalysts” in Russia have already led to their massive theft of cars “sleeping” on the yards.
