Skoda Kamiq debuted almost three years ago – then Skoda representatives said that although the model is mainly aimed at Europe, there is still a chance that it will come to us one day. And indeed, the time has come. Granted, not quite as expected, but what’s the difference though.
So, advertisements for the sale of Skoda Kamiq were published simultaneously by several dealers in different regions of Russia: for a crossover, depending on the performance, they ask from 2,450,000 to 2,900,000 rubles. A seller claims that the car is already available – they say, come and pick it up right away. And the second just goes to the site.
Skoda Kamiq, built on the MQB-A0 modular platform, has no alternative front-wheel drive. The engine range includes four engines: three petrol (95, 115 and 150 hp) and one “diesel” for 115 forces. As for gearboxes, European buyers can choose between a six-speed “mechanics” and a seven-speed “robot”.
Recall that at the beginning of March, Skoda suspended deliveries of new cars to Russia and the production of cars at sites in Kaluga and Nizhny Novgorod. And since then no official statements have been received from representatives of the company: the plants have not yet been sold, no final parting with the domestic market has been made, official dealers are working.
