Deception of the century: Europe begins to ban electric vehicles
The history of the development and growing popularity of electric vehicles from the very beginning seemed somewhat unspoken: there were too many “buts” in this “fashion”. And then, suddenly, as always, the screen fell with a bang. And not in our archaic latitudes, but in the most cultural and technological part of Europe – in Switzerland. Why the Old World decided to abandon the previously imposed electric vehicles, the AvtoVzglyad portal found out.

This has never happened before, and here it is again: Europe is starting to ban electric vehicles. Do not recommend, do not warn, namely prohibit. Switzerland, the wealthiest and most expensive country to live in in the Old World, is considering the possibility of banning electric cars this winter.

It is intended that “eco-friendly transport” can only be used for essential travel – work and visits to the doctor. Not a bad prospect: paying exorbitant prices to get a use ban. Violators – power outage.

At least for ten years now, the whole world has been obediently listening to meaningful speeches that in the future – a happy and “correct” part of it – there will be an exclusive place for Tesla and the like. No combustion engine, for the environment. No to greenhouse gases, yes to lithium batteries!

Questions about the processing of such batteries (they have not yet learned how to do this, and the old batteries are simply buried in countries whose ecology is not so important to the planet), as well as about the origin of the electricity needed to be “filled” with an electric car, kept aside. As completely unimportant, small problems that cannot break the trend of the “reserve”. The key is electric vehicles. And point. Like “Tasty and that’s it”, only without “tasty”. Miraculous, but many believed.

Someone for a fraction of a small, for a “cap of crackers”, and some – with all my heart. Honestly. However, every deception will be revealed one day if more than one person knows about it. And the year 2022 seems to be the last step for the electric motor’s next ascent to the top of the automotive industry: not only petrol and diesel proved to be a privilege, but also power in the socket.

They came to “such a life” in a fairly simple way: by closing the old and “dirty” – on coal and fuel oil – power plants, the Europeans did not stop there and also “decided” on nuclear ones. Like, it’s dangerous, it’s not worth it for them to be in the “reserve”. By the way, they also planned to break the relationship with gas, focusing on renewable energy sources – wind and solar.

With the “blue fuel” they decided ahead of schedule and without the participation of Europeans, but the plan with the VET did not work: the windmills refuse to rotate in the cold and cannot organize a stable voltage in the network, the sun is not very good in winter, and consumption is stable high, it is necessary to warm up.

Therefore, you constantly have to “plug in” the old “burning” stations, which is very unprofitable for their owners – the power industry in Europe is private, the state has very conditional pressure levers. And if the engine is started and turned off, as a result of which it does not work stably, it will soon fail – a private trader will think five times before exploiting his property in such a way, albeit for a good cause.

And how should they, these old stations, drown? Gas at 1,500 euros per thousand “cubes”? The coal mines have already been dismantled and the French atom – once big, strong and independent – has long needed repair and reconstruction. Well, they planned to close it, what was there to invest. Today it is too late to “drink Borjomi” – the stations are operating at half capacity.

Switzerland, so wealthy and sovereign, the flagship of peace and confidence in the future, was caught between two fires: electricity used to be bought in France, which is now scarce, and in Germany, where today factories have to close for winter through the winter and not freeze. Checkmate, flip the switch down, line up for undergrowth.

Surprising, of course, but an electric car needs power. A lot of. Tesla Model S consumes 30 kWh per 100 km. And if there are several thousand of them, then what did the European rulers dream of? There will not be enough for homes and hospitals, including schools and kindergartens. No, guys, get your old, smoky and smoky “Redvans” out of the storage areas and fill them with environmentally harmful diesel fuel. The exhaust pipe is a passage to the road. Expensive, harmful, but who said that life in the “reservation” would be easy?

And electric vehicles can exist only in two European countries: in Norway, which has long provided a turbine for every mountain river, and in Russia, whose ancestors built numerous hydroelectric power plants under the most difficult conditions and an advanced “peaceful atom” of a full cycle – from mining to electricity generation. For everyone else, the “train” is simply not affordable. What they fought for, as they say.
