The Koreans have released information about the fourth generation Kia Carnival. Compared to its predecessor, the front overhang has been reduced and the A-pillar has been moved back. As a result, the hood has become optically longer and more aggressive. However, the recognizable ‘tiger smile’ still shows off on the radiator grille. In order not to reduce the interior space, the car has grown to 5156 mm in length. The driver should be content with two LCD monitors with 12.3-inch displays – one for the instrument panel and the other for the infotainment system. The number of places for storing various small things has also increased.
In addition, the new Carnival is equipped with three-zone climate control, power front seats, wireless charging, a premium audio system and, of course, modern active safety assistants. The Korean minivan, we repeat, is offered in 7, 9 and 11 seat configurations. In the latter case, passengers in the back row don’t feel like third-rate people thanks to the extended wheelbase and three-zone climate control.
On the world market, the car will be offered with two engines: a 2.2-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 201 horsepower. with., and a 3.5 liter gasoline engine producing 296 horses. It is curious when the Korean tiger smiles at our drivers.
