Probably: “Loaves” and “Hunters” have long been recognized as the national treasure of Russia and legally forbid UAZ to stop their production. However, apparently, the management of the Ulyanovsk plant does not mind. The AvtoVzglyad portal became aware of UAZ’s plans for the further fate of the honored “villains”.

Lovers of “cars with a soul” can breathe a sigh of relief. Despite the constant rumors that “Loaf” or “Hunter” are about to leave the assembly line, the rumors of their deaths have been greatly exaggerated. According to Adil Shirinov, general manager of UAZ, the company will not throw them into the dustbin of history:

“We are not giving up anything. We will give Bukhanka the chance to live his own life as long as our customers need it, just like Hunter, whom they tried to bury,” the Kommersant edition quotes the top manager.

It seems that the moral margin of safety of the concept of these cars is far from exhausted. Not to mention that they are a unique example of not only longevity, but of constant demand from new generations of car owners. Remember, these machines are endemic to our country’s mobile ecosystem. And in other, more greenhouse conditions, they just couldn’t exist.

And it is quite possible that the life expectancy of models is not even determined by the plans of the factory, and not by consumer interest. According to the AvtoVzglyad portal, as long as the habitat in the vast areas of the native homeland is unfavorable for the appearance of spoiled examples of the global automotive industry there, Loafs and Hunters will continue to live in this uncontested and harsh space. And sadly, it always will be.
