The members of the “Traffic Safety” working group, functioning within the framework of the regulatory guillotine, generally approved the following and, it would seem, the final version of the list of errors, in which the operation of the vehicle is prohibited. Now, in general, it only involves overpainting the side and windshields, installing LEDs in halogen headlights and a number of other “breakdowns” that do not allow you to drive.
Their discovery threatens with a fine of 500 rubles for the driver. The new list adds these items to driving from December to February on summer tires and from June to August on studded tires. A similar penalty will be encountered for broken brake lights, reversing lights and a broken ABS icon on the car’s “cleaned up”. As well as for the removed “wizard” – the brake power regulator.
In addition, the traffic police secured the approval of another malfunction list. If any of the “styles” listed therein are found, the car will be immediately sent to a car impound, and the driver will be issued an order to resolve technical issues within a few days. Among them: the same “tinting” and non-functioning parking brake with ABS, faulty power steering, misaligned headlights, non-burning brake light, “bald” or damaged tires, missing or faulty seat belt, as well as destruction of suspension parts and missing (not working) tachograph.
