And this is strange, because our cars do not use such advanced technologies that they cannot be completely located. Granted, there’s also the economy. So often the purchase of parts abroad turned out to be much more profitable from an economic point of view than their own production. Therefore, our motorists are faced with the absence of ABS, airbags and infotainment systems in AVTOVAZ end products. But there are also hardware issues.

So, against the background of the sanctions policy, 16-valve engines disappeared from the AVTOVAZ internal combustion engine range. Their pleasant feature is more efficient operation at high speeds, as well as the fact that they more easily fit into modern environmental standards. However, according to the president of AvtoVAZ Maxim Sokolov, already in May of this year, 16-valve engines can return to the assembly line. And buyers get the option to choose powertrains. In addition, Mr. Sokolov noted that AVTOVAZ will still launch an assembly line of long-suffering Vesta at the end of spring. And this should help the factory workers to reach the production of 500,000 cars per year.
