Five stars for Tesla Model Y in Euro NCAP tests

OUR Euro NKAP evaluates several brands, and in the overall ranking Model Y received a five-star rating, beating models from automakers such as Volkswagen, volvo and Mercedes Benz. This score indicates that the Tesla vehicle does a very good job of crash protection and accident prevention.

While only the Model Y has been tested, other Tesla models use the same avoidance and driver assistance technologies, giving the automaker a very good concept when it comes to safety.

Of course, because Tesla is at the forefront of automotive technology, it faces certain challenges, many of which could pose a risk to its consumers and pedestrians. The company’s self-driving vehicles always make headlines around the world due to a lack of operational control, which leads to accidents and sometimes injuries and even deaths.

Cases like this are what leaves organizations like National Transportation Safety Board alert. They have previously notified Tesla of their driver assistance technologies and continue to monitor them.
