LADA Granta gets electric power steering from Dagestan

In mid-January, information came out that the LADA Granta had lost its electric power steering – it simply ran out of parts. Now it has become known that the Volga residents, it seems, have found a solution to the problem. And not in China, but in Russia – at the Aviaagregat plant in Dagestan.

Togliatti residents have already received the first batch of electric power steering prototypes from a potential partner, Atypical AVTOVAZ reports. They will be tested in the near future. And if all goes according to plan, the domestic auto giant could solve one of LADA Granta’s most serious problems. After all, since the fall of last year, the “shortage” has arisen in many respects at the plant, if only because of the shortage of EUR.

At the same time, it is curious that Aviaagregat is confident that its products will pass the test with dignity. Otherwise, why has the Dagestan enterprise already begun to study the issue of serial production of electric amplifiers for AVTOVAZ?

By the way, the day before, the AvtoVzglyad portal published a long interview with Dmitry Kostromin, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of JSC AVTOVAZ. In particular, he told us about the upcoming new LADA products, plans for the production of an all-wheel drive crossover and problems with components. And you can learn more about all this and much more here.
