5 best-selling used electric vehicles in Russia
According to sales statistics, the demand for used electric cars in the country has almost doubled. To be more precise, last year our compatriots bought “used” electric vehicles by 48% more than a year earlier. The AvtoVzglyad portal found out which mileage “trains” are most honored in our country.

It should be noted that sales of electric vehicles in Russia are growing from year to year. So, according to Avito Auto analysts, the sales volume of used electric vehicles doubled three years ago and also tripled in 2021. Just like last year, as already mentioned, “used” electric cars showed an increase of almost 50%. The average cost of hand-to-hand cars powered by an outlet has reached 1,899,000 rubles.

“The share of used electric vehicles is 0.24% of all used vehicles sold in 2022. For comparison, in 2021 the indicator was at the level of 0.15%. At the moment, more than 4,000 advertisements are available for the sale of electric motor cars in different price categories,” Avito Auto specialists told AvtoVzglyad portal.

The bestseller among the used “electric locomotives” is still the globally acclaimed compact Nissan Leaf, whose share of the segment is 45.5%. The model was probably purchased due to the availability of price lists and proven reliability over the years. The average check for a Japanese electric car is now 655,000 rubles.

The second place in popularity with our brother went to the American Tesla Model 3 with an average cost of 3,750,000 rubles. The model’s share of the mileage electric vehicle sales segment was 9.4%. It seems that the Russian people are not afraid that the car will catch fire or that the “autopilot” will not work.

Closed the top three is another electric car from Elon Musk – Tesla Model S with a share of 4.1%. A car is bought on average for 3,650,000 rubles. It is curious that the model used to cost more than its “relative” with an index of 3. Yes, times are changing and, of course, not for the better…

The Tesla Model Y crossover occupied the fourth position among the most popular electric “beushki” among Russians. The overseas SUV accounted for 3.7% of the total volume of used electric cars sold in Russia. The average price for a car was 6,000,000 rubles. The TOP-5 “most-most” in our electric rating is crowned by Germany’s Volkswagen ID.4, which captured a 3.5 percent share of the segment. This compact crossover is bought on average for 3,500,000 rubles.

It is worth adding that soon the fleet of used electric cars will be replenished with cheap Russian-Chinese Evolute, as well as purely Chinese Skywell and premium Chinese Hongqi. Well, we are waiting for another increase in electricity price in the country.
