Domestic dealers, who had sold the remains of brand-new four-doors, turned their sights to the east. And there they found Magotan – the Chinese version of the Passat.
One of the official Volkswagen dealers in Perm placed an advertisement in several car ads at once about the “gray” sale of a new Magotan sedan. For a car that rolled off the line in 2022 (generation B8, restyling), the car dealer asks 3,450,000 rubles. And you don’t have to wait for it: the sedan is, as you can see in the photos, already in the showroom.
The proposed Volkswagen Magotan is powered by a hybrid power plant of a 150-horsepower 1.4-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor – the total power reaches 218 liters. Of. Purely on the “green” traction, the car can go up to 60 kilometers. Gearbox – DSG robot, front wheel drive.
As for the equipment, a sedan with quite rich equipment was brought to Russia. The options list includes a panoramic roof, dual-zone “climate”, a full “winter package”, a rear view camera, cruise control, rain and light sensors and a digital instrument panel.
It remains only to add that the external differences between the European Passat and the Chinese Magotan are insignificant. Although the latter is larger: the length of its body is 4866 mm (compared to 4767 for the Passat), and the wheelbase is 2871 mm (80 mm more).
