The top manager is convinced that since many car manufacturers are obsessed with electric trains, the history of SUVs will soon come to naught. In fact, in the new world of “saving on everything and everyone” there is simply no place for it.

Monsieur Kobe explained that energy efficiency plays one of the most important roles in the “green” field, which is why designers try to “draw” cars with more streamlined silhouettes, light and compact. And every year this trend will only get stronger.

In France, for example, only those who own an electric car weighing a maximum of 2.4 tonnes are now entitled to benefit. It is likely that this threshold will be lowered to 1.8 tonnes in the foreseeable future. As a result, manufacturers will downsize and use lighter but less efficient batteries that are not suitable for SUVs.
