This is a large manufacturer, whose factory capacity allows to produce up to 50,000 products per year. Russian needs will be stably covered. There are four very different models in the dealer line today: a competitor from Belarus, a 90 or 110 hp Atlas, equipped with a 16×8 mechanical transmission, that is, sixteen forward gears and eight reverse. Slightly larger Alcor with 130 and 140 hp. Of. and a “box” 16×8, 165 and 185 hp Altair with a 16×16 transmission and the flagship Antares, producing 220, 240 and 260 hp. Of. in the version with “mechanics” 16×16 – the Chinese “seven”.
Prices – from 3,000,000 rubles for the “Atlas” and up to 11 million – for the large “Antares”. By comparison, John Deere asked for 19,000,000. It is expected that in the near future there will be tractors with automatic transmission – from now on, not a tractor driver in an oiled quilted jacket, but a “tractor operator” will sit behind the wheel of such complex and quite comfortable equipment !
Speaking of expectations. At the moment, Optitech Agro confirms that the first Hanwo have already arrived and a batch of 250 tractors is being loaded onto trains. The initial batch of spare parts and consumables has also arrived and the warehouse is being prepared for a large batch of new parts. The next stage of Russian-Chinese relations is localization, which will take place at the Galitsinsk bus plant, which is part of the GAZ group. The Chinese tractor will have to be labeled “Made in Russia”, so the level of localization must be extremely high.
It is expected that initially the place under the hood will be occupied by the Yaroslavl engine, and many components will be produced locally. This is necessary for three reasons: competition, costs and politics. The latter is also the basis for the installation of exclusively Russian systems for monitoring and determining geolocation, since there is no longer any confidence in imported analogues.
