And one more “social” news. The traffic police summed up the results of last year and found out that in 2022 the Russians broke the record number of fines. For twelve months, the traffic police issued 201 million orders to drivers, which is 12% more than a year earlier. More than 90% of all these fines are imposed on the basis of data from cameras. And here again an increase: by 14% compared to 2021. As for the total amount, it is as much as 137 billion rubles.
Not without news from the “car” fields. For example, we learned that the first commercial copies of the renewed LADA Vesta will roll off the assembly line on March 3. Initially, sedans and station wagons will be produced without fashionable multimedia and CVT. But they will be equipped with a system of exchange rate stabilization, airbags and ABS. By the way, the Chinese company KESENS becomes the supplier of ABS, it replaces Bosch.
For now, the Chinese are everything. In all perspectives. Very soon another “heavenly” brand, Jetour, will enter the Russian market. It will open order acceptance for its cars in March-April. Sales will begin with the Dashing and X90 crossovers, which are currently undergoing certification. For the first, according to preliminary data, they will ask for 2,200,000 rubles, and for the second – from 4,000,000.
