According to the results of the first month of spring, car production in Russia decreased by 70% compared to the same period last year. Russian Automotive Market Research analysts shared disappointing data with Gazeta.Ru. Passenger cars in particular suffered, whose production figures fell by 70.5% in March. Comtrans was less affected, with a 10% decline in the first quarter. But trucks – on the contrary, came out as a plus. Thus, the production of heavy trucks increased by 9%, and buses – by 6%.
The experts of the AvtoVzglyad portal are sure that the assembly of passenger cars in Russia will not show positive dynamics in the future, even despite the point launch of the production of individual models.
Recall that after an unplanned vacation, the AVTOVAZ conveyor began to work, the Haval company continues its activities, producing Hyundai and Kia in small batches. However, the latter prefer not to talk about it so as not to attract the attention of the collective West. In addition, they are discussing the possibility of resuming production of Volkswagen and Skoda.
But as mentioned before, all these efforts will not help the market recover as quickly. It seems that what we called the shortage is still flowers…
