It would seem that elsewhere, but cars on the Russian secondary market continue to rise in price. Analysts have calculated that “beushki” in the first two months of the coming year added another 6.7% in price – the average cost of a used car reached 800,000 rubles.

It is curious that after the New Year, not only prices in the secondary car market increased, but also demand increased – by 7.2% compared to January-February 2022. In addition, Internet users were most interested in used cars LADA, Toyota, Hyundai, Kia and Volkswagen.

Of these five brands, the most tangible price increase was recorded by Hyundai – these “Koreans” added 12.4% to price at once. Prices of related Kia “heavier” by 9.3%. For Toyota cars, they now charge 6.4% more, for Volkswagen – 6.2%, for LADA – 5.2%.

As for the most demanded models, LADA has Priora, which now costs an average of 300,000 rubles. Among the Toyotas, Camry is most in demand (the average price is 1,880,000 rubles). But Hyundai’s best seller in the “secondary” is Solaris with an average cost of 825,000 “wooden”.

We add that a study on price dynamics in the used car market in Russia was conducted by Avito Auto analysts. They studied ads placed between January 1 and February 19 and compared the results with data from November 1 to December 19.
