Chery certified in China a new modification of the Arrizo 8 sedan – a GT version with a powerful 254 hp turbocharged engine. Sales of the G8 should begin in Russia in the near future, which means it’s possible we’ll see a “charged” version of the GT over time.
The Chery Arrizo 8 GT will be powered by a two-liter turbo engine with 254 hp. Of. and 390 Nm of torque. That is, faster than the Jaguar XE with a 249 horsepower engine (the “British” takes 6.5 seconds), but slower than the Audi A4 with a unit of the same power (5.8 seconds).
The GT modification will differ from the “usual” not only in technology, but also in appearance. According to Autohome, buyers can choose from several options for the grille pattern and rims (up to 18 inches). In addition, the most powerful version includes slightly modified bumpers and four tailpipes. But the dimensions are the same: length – 4780 mm, width – 1843 mm, height – 1469 mm, wheelbase – 2790 mm.
