The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant stopped production of a number of cars in expedition versions. We are talking about SUVs UAZ “Patriot”, “Hunter” and UAZ SGR, known by the nickname “Loaf”. The reason for this is the difficulties caused by the lack of the necessary car parts.
As the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant told the AvtoVzglyad portal: “currently these modifications are really not being produced. This is due to the change of supplier of some items from the list of equipment, and as a result, the need for full-fledged tests and equipment settings.
However, after the supply of the necessary parts has been resumed, the assembly of the aforementioned vehicles will be resumed.
Meanwhile, Ulyanovsk recently returned the anti-lock braking system to the equipment of their cars. ABS from German Bosch was replaced by an analogue from an alternative supplier from China, namely APG.
