Insiders claim that from April 1 they will be sent to Tolyatti in a simple evening shift on the line of the conveyor where LADA Vesta NG is being assembled. The public “Atypical AVTOVAZ” reports about the imminent interruptions in the supply of components. The authors of the post refer to an order signed by the vice president of the plant, according to which the downtime for Vesta’s evening assembly crew is organized from April 1 to April 30. That is, the plant will be able to return to full-fledged production of its flagship only on May 10.
However, as Sergey Ilyinsky, communications director of AvtoVzglyad, explained to the AvtoVzglyad portal, this message is not true. The installation of Vesta is now proceeding according to plan.
We also recall that last year Togliatti replaced more than 200 car parts and materials for the model, the supply of which was interrupted due to sanctions against Russia. This made it possible to resume production of a family popular with our customers.
