The Ministry of Industry and Trade has reported on the production of the latest truck BAZ-S36A11, produced at the Bryansk Automobile Plant – now it is being tested at the NAMI training ground. The car, developed by domestic specialists, is designed to replace the products of Western brands that have left Russia.
The model is assembled almost entirely from Russian components. Engine – YaMZ-6531 with a capacity of 422 liters. with., corresponding to the Euro-5 class, the transmission is a mechanical “nine-speed” YaMZ-1909 with a demultiplier and a “razdatka”. And the suspension and transport axles with a carrying capacity of 12 tons were developed by the craftsmen of Bryansk Automobile Plant JSC.
BAZ-S36A11 features an air conditioning system, as well as autonomous heating, graphical instrument panel and telematics. Partners from China probably supplied electronics for the new Russian truck. The project itself is the work of the masters of the Engineering Center of the Obukhov plant. The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov, personally drove a heavy truck and, as expected, was pleased.
By the way, production of cars designed to play in the budget price segment will soon be established in the Bryansk region. It is expected that consumers will be offered affordable models à la Renault Logan, built with the cooperation of partners from China.
