The piece of wood is sawn into two parts, and then the halves are attached to the driving wheels – they turn out something like off-road “bracelets”. As a result, the contact area of ​​the tires with the surface increases and the car can move forward. Those are just such “bast shoes” that must be removed immediately when they escape from sticky captivity. Driving with them, even on a primer, is uncomfortable and dangerous: the ropes are not resistant and break.
Finally, the wood also comes off as a stop for one of the wheels so that the car does not roll down. But this is obvious to most helmsmen in our opinion.
