The rest are satisfied with little. 9 European brands occupy only 8%. Representatives of the Japanese and American automotive industries have 7 each, and only 2 companies from South Korea. Such data was announced today at the All-Russian meeting of car dealers by Alexei Podshchekoldin, chairman of the ROAD.

As for the leaders of the local market, the innovative BYD sold the most in the first quarter of 2023. The result of 484,545 cars that have found their owner is respectful. At the same time, few people know the brand in Russia. Only those who bought rare hybrids under the parallel import scheme.

The brand occupies 0.1% of the market (6530 units).Apparently, the attitude to premium in China is somewhat different, although all models are well assembled and the equipment is rich. Well, Haima (2541 units) and Foton (1383 units) have completely unimportant business. By the way, the first does not leave attempts to stay in the Russian market. Information has already appeared that the 8s crossover and 7x minivan are undergoing certification. As for Foton, it is known in the Russian Federation for pickups and trucks.
