Iran will put pressure on LADA, LADA – dealers, dealers – owners of “Koreans”, and the traffic police – everyone else: results of the week

The last week of April was marked by the start of sales of the LADA Granta with a 16-valve engine and the budget Iran Khodro Tara, the Korean authorities’ ban on the export of spare parts for cars worth more than $50,000 to Russia, negotiations on the transfer of ownership of the Hyundai plant in St. proposals to strengthen the control of SIM and tougher penalties for driving with dirty license plates. And more about the most important news of these days – in the video summary of the AvtoVzglyad portal.

AVTOVAZ announced the launch of LADA Granta with a 16-valve engine – liftbacks, sedans and station wagons in this modification can already be ordered from official dealers. For a car equipped with a 106 hp engine. with., airbags, heated front seats, air conditioning and an audio complex, they ask from 870,000 rubles. In addition, new information about Vesta NG has appeared – we recall that the start of sales is scheduled for May.

Those who have a modest budget but are not ready to switch to the Grant may be interested to know that Russian dealers have really cheap Iran Khodro Tara sedans by today’s standards. The starting price is 1,250,000 rubles. Atmospheric engine – 1.6 liters, 113 liters. Of. Boxes – a five-speed “mechanics” and a six-band “automatic”. The equipment includes two airbags, ABS and ESP, heated front seats, a rear view camera, multimedia and even cruise control.

But there is also sad news: it seems that everything is aimed at the Koreans soon saying goodbye to Russia. For example, it recently became known that negotiations on the sale of the Hyundai plant in St. Petersburg have entered the final stage. The Kazakh company “Astana Motors” is actively interested in the venture. It is not yet clear what she will do with this acquisition. The details of the agreement have not been disclosed. It is only known that the parties are now waiting for the approval of the Russian authorities.

And another piece of news from the South Korean fields – the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic has strengthened control over exports to Russia and Belarus from April 28. The list of prohibited goods has expanded from 57 to nearly 800 items. Among other things, it contained spare parts for cars worth more than 50 thousand dollars, which at the current exchange rate is equivalent to four million rubles.

However, it is not only the Korean government that is tightening the screws, but also the Russian one. The Ministry of Transport sent a proposal to the Ministry of the Interior to increase the penalty for driving with dirty, closed, altered numbers or without one at all. For example, the agency plans to deal with crafty truck drivers who avoid fines for exceeding weight and size standards at checkpoints by hiding license plates.

Another restrictive proposal came from State Duma deputies – those who consider it necessary to oblige owners of electric scooters, Segways and other means of individual mobility to register their “toys” with the traffic police. Thus, the number of accidents with their participation is growing rapidly, and without license plates it is difficult to check and fine crazy non-drivers.
