OceanGate Expeditions is a company based in the Bahamas. It brings together researchers, scientists and cinematographers engaged in human exploration of the underwater world. It is worth noting that this is not the first voyage to the ship, and it is not the last. Previously, the company had released some videos showing other images. For example, in 2021, they did 5 dives in six weeks, creating hours of video and lots of photos. They will be handed over to scientists for historical tracking of the ship’s decay.

OceanGate Expeditions is set to return to the wreckage in the spring of 2023. Given the Titanic’s size and wreckage area, these missions will continue over the next few years to fully document all of the ship’s remains. They will conduct laser and sonar scans, collect new photos and videos, examine marine life living in the wreckage area, and gather other data using high-resolution 4K cameras and 3D scanners.
