The Russian new car market is slowly starting to pick up again. AVTOVAZ found new suppliers and was able to restart production of LADA Vesta. The flagship of the Togliatti line returned to the empty segment of low-cost and mass-produced cars and immediately began to gain popularity.
Last week, from June 26 to July 2, Vesta was purchased by 1,169 people, immediately taking the model to third place in the sales score, which is compiled by agency Avtostat together with Electronic Passport JSC based on information about the issue of electronic title for new vehicles.
The first place in the TOP-3 is occupied by another model from AVTOVAZ – LADA Granta, which was purchased by 3,747 people during the same period. And on the second line is the Chinese crossover Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max, which sold out in a week with a circulation of 1251 units.
The fourth position in the ranking is occupied by the Haval Jolion crossover with a result of 1147 cars sold, and the Chinese Geely Coolray crossover is in fifth position. In the period mentioned, 841 people opted for this model.
