The truth about Chinese cars that will shock you
Today, only car brands from China are represented in Russia. Those foreign car manufacturers who still remain in our market are not engaged in the sale of cars. And it looks like they won’t do it anymore. But the “Chinese” will still set the heat. The AvtoVzglyad portal will tell about their curious journey from flowers to berries.

At home, the Chinese sound cars faster than this text is made. The capacity of the local car market exceeds the 20 million threshold and the worst manufacturer sells at least 300,000 cars per year. Cool? And how! Especially considering that the first car appeared in the Celestial Empire when the USSR was already in full swing collecting trucks from GAZ, and in the same USA they managed to produce a little less than 1,000,000 Fords. We are talking about the Ming Sheng 75 truck, which you can’t even call Chinese. The car got moving thanks to the American company Relay Trucks, which shared a pattern with the Relay S11B model. The second novelty – Jiefang CA-30 – was not a very successful “copy-paste” of the Soviet ZIS-150.

For nearly 80 years, the People’s Republic of China has been making “counterfeits” and they feel good about it. Yes, it’s so good that in 2010, the “Celestial Kingdom” broke the North American market in terms of sales volume like Tuzik, and also officially took away from Japan the title of the largest auto industry nation in the world! The Europeans also understood: a few years later, China confidently knocked Germany off the podium, which she wore in the jersey of the leader in car exports. Russia has never been considered an important market, and for none of the car brands. An exception can be made only for individual models, which are most appetizingly eaten by our brother on the European continent.

Now Asians have opened up huge opportunities, and not even huge earnings for the sake of it, but for politics and image. Far from slowly but surely, the Chinese will begin to squeeze out the foreigners left behind in Russia, and then quickly and unhesitatingly squeeze our own auto industry out of us and bite off a growing market share. A little more, and in terms of sales, the country’s automotive sector will become as much as 70% Chinese. Which was even announced in the association “Russian Automobile Dealers” (ROAD).

It is gratifying that the guys from the PRC at least learned how to somehow build cars that are no longer pathetic parodies of the products of recognized masters of the global automotive industry. But again, this is not their merit – let’s say “thank you” to technologies, developments, factories, personnel and the names of those giants of the planet’s auto industry, which the ubiquitous Chinese bought with guts. But with the improvement in quality, prices also rose, and in the case of our country, they not only rose, but rose obscenely! However, in the absence of an alternative and taking into account the imminent monopoly on the Russian market, the Chinese will behave even more cynically and arrogantly.
