YouTube allows users to access videos faster thanks to their watch history. However, few people know that the Google video platform also provides a history of comments made by an account. Thus, it is easier to find comments on old videos where users can edit and delete them.

With that in mind, today the Mundo Conectado team has put together two simple guides on how to see your YouTube comment history, both through the web version and through the mobile application. Check out the tutorials below.

How to view YouTube comment history (website)

• Through a browser of your choice, visit YouTube and log in with your account. After that, in the menu located on the right, go to the option Historical.

• Then, in the options located on the right side of the screen, click Comments.

• A new page will open and show Your comments on YouTube. Scroll down and see all your video comments on the platform. If you want to watch the video again or edit/delete the comment, just click on the link or thumbnail and you will be redirected to the page.

How to View YouTube Comment History (App)

• To view your YouTube comment history through the mobile app, sign in to your account and tap profile picture.
• Then in the menu press Your data on YouTube.
• Now scroll down and on Your YouTube Control Paneltouch Most.

• New options will appear. So click Comments to go to the page Your comments on YouTube.
• Swipe down to view all of your historical platform comments.
• Scroll down again and you will see all the comments left by your account on the videos on the platform. If you want to watch the video again or edit/delete the comment, just click on the link or button miniature that you will be redirected to the page.

It is worth noting that X located above the video thumbnail on the Your YouTube Comments page will only remove the story entry, not the comment on the video. To delete a comment permanently, the user must access the video and delete it.
