Duma deputies want to propose to the Government of the Russian Federation to reintroduce a ban on the export of diesel fuel in case of a serious price increase. And this is where everything is heading: Heavy fuel has now steadily risen in price for a second week in 58 regions of the country.
As Izvestia reports, citing data from Rosstat, the cost of diesel fuel increased by an average of 0.3% from November 21 to 27. The highest jump was recorded in the Magadan region – by 4.79 rubles per liter, the Trans-Baikal region – by 1.12 rubles, the Amur region – by 98 kopecks, the Primorsky region – by 95 kopecks, in Kamchatka – with 79 kopecks, in Khakassia – with 70 kopecks, the Irkutsk region – with 60 kopecks, the Khabarovsk region – with 49 kopecks and the Sakhalin region – with 47 kopecks. In Moscow, according to Rosstat, the price increase amounted to 6 kopecks, and according to the Moscow Fuel Association – 14 kopecks.
And last week, diesel fuel prices rose 0.1%. Experts say that the main reason is the increase in prices on the stock exchange. The government has lifted the ban on the export of diesel fuel, which is becoming increasingly expensive on the global market, making it profitable for companies to export products abroad. Naturally, fuel is becoming more expensive on the domestic market. This will be a topic of discussion at a round table in the State Duma on December 7. The Energy Committee plans to raise the issue of renewing the export ban.
