
AVTOVAZ will resume production of conveyor belts from LADA Largus in 2023. Recall that previous problems with spare parts logistics supply chains led to the cessation of production of this popular model. And now the head of the auto giant, Maxim Sokolov, said Largus will roll off the assembly line next year in almost pre-crisis volumes. In addition, the consumer sees it both in the version with a combustion engine and on electric traction. In the latter case, the electric motor, batteries and inverter are placed on a platform made for the traditional version of the machine.
In general, Largus turned out to be surprisingly suitable in our country and was in constant demand, as it was well suited for both commercial tasks and personal use. The car confidently and regularly entered the TOP-15 of the most popular cars. So it would be wrong to lose the market, especially given the mounting pressure from the Chinese. And thanks to the restart of the popular model, AVTOVAZ is able to revive the work of its dealer network.
But which engine will be under the hood of the wagon – an 8-valve with a capacity of 84 “horses” or a 150 hp 16-valve – is not yet very clear. As for the e-Largus, it should have a power reserve of about 250 km and will be assembled in Izhevsk.
